In reality we are not able to have quality relationships, perform well, develop and grow personally and professionally if we deprive ourselves mentally and physically. We may even feel resentful in our efforts to continuously sustain our commitments, work demands and expectations from others because when we give from a half empty cup we can never give fully or whole-heartedly.
Our beliefs are self-fulfilling, and when we believe we need to meet expectations and needs of others before our own, we surround ourselves with needy, dependent or demanding people, who either rely on us for satisfactions of their needs or have no concern for our needs. It is our role to take care of own health and wellbeing and to recognise that self appreciation is the foundation for success in life!
